 Art From Scrap is excited to announce the opening of its gallery space to a new demographic of artists. We will be showcasing work by nine highly talented emerging Santa Barbara artists. For this show, entitled ‘See Here Now’ we have expanded the variety and style of work usually shown at our gallery to include painting, photography, sculpture and fashion. Join us on Saturday, May 7th for the opening reception, an event which will also take on new forms. We will have a live DJ, two performance pieces throughout the night and live painting by Michael Heltebrake, one of our featured artists. Mark your calendars! May 7th is opening night; the show will hang through June 4th.

Arts, Crafts and Jewelry by talented local artists is a good choice for holiday gifts. I will be selling jewelry, leather work, dreamcatchers, prints and crafts made from local harvested and recycled materials. I will also be giving art demos during the daytime and live body painting at night.
